External cladding sealant replacement by rope access

Singapore 2025

Rope-access team re-sealing failed cladding joints on a commercial building façade to stop wall seepage.

The problem

Perished sealant in the cladding joints was letting wind-driven rain into tenant spaces along one elevation.

Our approach

A rope-access team worked the elevation systematically, removing failed sealant and re-caulking the joints with the correct sealant grade.

Method

Rope-access removal of degraded sealant, joint preparation and re-sealing of cladding and panel joints across the façade.

Outcome

The elevation was re-sealed and the seepage stopped, with the building fully occupied throughout and no scaffolding required.
