Injection may treat a suitable leakage path within concrete. It does not renew a failed waterproofing layer across a room. Similarly, a coating over an unsound substrate or failed joint does not resolve the underlying defect.
Preparation, moisture conditions, movement, detailing, compatibility and return-to-use requirements depend on the selected system. Ask for the applicable product information and a clear specification rather than assuming every product in a category behaves identically.
The acceptance method should fit the repair and access constraints. Ask what can be checked at completion, what cannot, and which observations or follow-up records are needed. Structural distress requires assessment beyond a generic waterproofing comparison.
