Rope-access service
Sealant Replacement in Singapore
Hydroseal replaces failed façade sealant across Singapore by IRATA rope access. Aged, cracked weather-seal joints on curtain walls, window perimeters and panel joints are the main cause of high-rise water ingress. We cut out the old sealant, prepare the joint and re-gun with the correct grade, no scaffolding required.

Sealant failures we fix
Cracked and hardened joints
UV and heat make old sealant brittle until it splits and lets water in. We cut it out fully and re-gun with a flexible, weather-grade replacement.
Curtain-wall and panel joints
Movement joints between cladding panels open up over time. We re-seal them to restore a continuous weatherproof line across the elevation.
Window-perimeter leaks
Perimeter seals around window frames are a common ingress point. We strip and replace them so rain stops tracking in around the openings.
Patchy past repairs
Sealant applied over old, dirty or incompatible joints fails fast. We remove previous work back to a sound substrate before re-sealing properly.
How we replace façade sealant
A source-first process that treats the cause of the leak, not just the symptom.
Trace and survey
We inspect the elevation to identify failed joints and likely ingress paths, mapping exactly which seals need replacing before work begins.
Cut out and prepare
Old sealant is fully cut out and the joint cleaned and primed, because a re-gun over contaminated or residual sealant will not bond or last.
Re-gun with correct grade
We apply the appropriate weather-grade sealant, tooled to a clean, continuous profile that flexes with the building and sheds water.
Rope-access delivery
IRATA-certified technicians reach every joint by abseil, no scaffold, so the work is faster, cheaper and far less disruptive than conventional access.

How we work
One clear process, start to warranty
The same disciplined method on every job, so you always know what happens next and why.
- 01
Diagnose
A free, no-obligation site inspection. We trace the water path to its true source, not just where the stain shows, using moisture mapping and, where needed, rope-access close-up survey.
- 02
Recommend
A clear written recommendation matched to your building, budget and timeline: the method, why it suits Singapore’s climate, what it costs, and how long it lasts.
- 03
Execute
Our trained crews carry out the works with minimal disruption, surface preparation, treatment and protective coating done to specification, with safety and tidiness on site.
- 04
Document
You receive a photographic record of the works and, for façade inspections, a full condition report, the documentation facility managers need for BCA and building records.
- 05
Warranty
Every completed project is backed by a Certificate of Warranty, from 1 to 10 years depending on the system, so the result is protected long after we leave.

Common questions
Straight answers to what homeowners and building managers ask us most.
Because the weather seal is what keeps rain out of the joints between glass, panels and frames. Once Singapore’s sun cracks and shrinks it, water gets in. Replacing the sealant at source is usually the most direct fix for façade water ingress.
