After-hours rope-access works on a retail mall’s glass façade and entrance feature, carried out at night to avoid disrupting shoppers.
The problem
A high-traffic Orchard Road retail frontage needed façade attention that could not interrupt trading hours or block the entrance.
Our approach
Works were scheduled after closing, with the team abseiling the glass façade under lighting so the mall traded normally by day.
Method
Rope-access access to the glass curtain wall and entrance canopy for cleaning, sealant checks and façade works, fully cordoned at ground level.
Outcome
The frontage was serviced with zero impact on shopper access or trading hours, a fraction of the cost and disruption of scaffolding a mall entrance.
